| Job Description : A Talented GUI and Graphic Design artist is required for our studio in Mumbai. You will be required to create Logos, Crests, and Ingame menu elements among others. One of the things a gamer sees in front of his eyes all the time during his gaming experience is the GUI. It has to be smart, good looking, and above all promote functionality and ease of use. Primary Requirements: 1. Graphic Design\Art School Certificate 2. Passion for next gen Games and Interface. 3. Exceptional Photoshop and/or Illustrator Skills 4. Mastering of Form, and Colour 5. Fresh look into art. 6. Exceptional Implementation of Theme Based Design. 7. Concern for Functionality and Screen Space. 8. Attention to detail!!!!! (no stray pixels, no broken curves) 9. Good Experience in Web Page and Flash Design as well as Print Media. 10. Being a TEAM player. No superstars, no politics. Secondary Requirements: 1. Scripting. 2. Exposure to pop culture. 3. Basic 3dsmax experience 4. General interest in visual arts. Exposure to any professional GUI creation tool would a great plus! Job Description: The following will be part of your day to day job: You will create concepts/mockups for GUI in Photoshop. You will create menu buttons, menu backgrounds, skill icons and other design elements. You will create game manual page backgrounds and covers. You might create game related web page, or marketing elements. Playing games in the office is optional! Work Samples: Your samples should display some or all of the above primary requirements. They could be in the form of JPG images or Online portfolio. We do not want to see many, we want to see your very best! Your test will be to generate a themed main menu page in Photoshop. DO NOT send original sketches we will not be able to return them. |
