Mr. Somil Gupta is Chairman and Managing Director of the Company. He is a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Pune University and graduated as an Associate of Science in Computer Animation from Fullsail University, Florida, USA. He has promoted the company to develop an IPR centric technology in order to capture the potential market of mobile value added services. He has 9 years of experience in the field of Computer Graphics, Animation and mobile value added services.
Sangam Gupta Chief Executive Officer
Equipped with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with majors in Game Development from Fullsail, Sangam earned his first paycheck at the age of 15 while developing code for online cricket gaming community. He later founded his own cricket gaming website which now has become World s biggest cricket gaming website with over 3 million pageviews a month. Sangam is known for his networking skills and while in school he was awarded Star student in the field of computers for 4 consecutive years beating his school seniors to it. Sangam has been developing his own game engine technology for past 3 years which is currently powering the games at Trine Game Studios. Sangam brings his technical and business networking expertise to Trine Game Studios.
Ovidiu Lupas Director of Development
Ovidiu aka “Ovi” manages all product technology development, including quality control, technolgy design, new product development, and improvements on existing products. Ovi heads the Programming department and leads with an example with his expertise in the field of game programming. Ovi takes out his daily frustation in Call of Duty 2 and Counter Strike at his team after long work days.
Yiannis Koumoutzelis Creative Director
Yiannis comes from Greece. A gamer since the age of 10, with 15 years of involvement in visuals and graphics in print and digital media, from archaeological reconstructions to virtual theme park content and games. He has traveled quite a bit and experienced different cultures which is something that he is very interested in. He likes to pass the knowledge so 4 years were spent teaching film students and introducing them to the wonderful world of VFX graphics. He loves all kinds of games, but primarily is a diehard high fantasy RPG fan, with great interest and a talent in online community building and live online events playing MMORPGs for quite a few years now, and a sitting duck demonstrating wonderful sportsmanship in FPS games.
Bottom line, he is old, wise and kinda slow (don’t tell him we said all that) J so on his day to day work he supervises artwork, writes stories, dialogues and develops game ideas about Trine’s original IPs. Proof that he loves to write, he wrote all that himself and that is why it is longer than anyone else’s.
Fabio Anthony VP Production
Fabio develops the layouts, concepts and gameplay, the game design of a video game at Trine. Most of his day is spent playing with his physics engine on coming up new ways of making fun. Fabio is popular in the office for his cheerful nature and his loyalty towards Sony. Fabio day to day job includes playfield design, specification writing, and entry of numeric properties that balance and tune the gameplay.
